Voters Request 2.5 Million Absentee Ballots

The Michigan Secretary of State’s office says Michigan voters have requested 2.5 million absentee ballots for the November election. Through October 19, residents with a Michigan driver’s license or state identification card can register online at The Secretary of State says the number of absentee ballot requests this year is up by 350% from 2016. More than 35,000 absentee ballot requests came in from Berrien County, and in Van Buren County, there were more than 15,000 requests for absentee ballots.
