Search Now Statewide For Saginaw-Area Man

Michigan State Police have expanded their search for an 87-year-old Saginaw area man to the entire state. Karl Marker missed his 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. State Police Sergeant Joseph Rowley says Marker was last seen heading to the Fashion Square Mall to walk and suffers from dementia.

“They informed us that during the COVID pandemic with the social isolation, it’s caused that condition to worsen, so we anticipate that he’s very confused as to where he is, and that’s why he has not returned home,” said Rowley.

Rowley says Marker was driving a 2011 GMC Savannah van, light tan or silver, with the license plate AUY-500. If you see him, call police.
