James Charles Williams

On Friday, October 23, 2020, James Charles Williams of Benton Harbor, passed away at the age of 76 years old.  James was born on August 17, 1944, in Hughes, AR to the late Triller Robinson and his father is unknown.

James gave his life to the Lord many years ago and became a faithful member of Ebenezer M.B. Church located in Benton Harbor.  He was a caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who loved God and his family dearly.

James will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Carolyn (Timothy) Woods and Donna Williams both of Grand Rapids, Phyllis (Tyrone Davis) Henry of Benton Harbor, and Sandra Oliver of Kansas City, Kansas; sons James Charles (Kassandra Bell) Williams Jr of Grand Rapids and James (Jami) Campbell of McAlester, Oklahoma; brothers James Robinson of Muskegon and Arthur Robinson of Michigan City, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Autis Mae Williams; two sons James Charles Williams and Phillip Henry; two brothers Elton and Willie Lee Robinson; four sisters Lillie Mae Richardson, Elnora Robinson, Estella Robinson, and Margaree Gordon; Grandmother Polly Williams
