Gary Lee Thran

Gary Lee Thran, 71 of Bridgman passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 after a short battle with cancer in the care of his daughters.

Gary was born November 28, 1948 in Berrien Center the son of the late John and Betty Jean (Cordes) Thran. Gary graduated from high school in 1968 and then served in the United State Air Force. He was employed with Fred M. Ott & Sons Inc. He enjoyed wood working, camping, slot car and  NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his daughters: Melissa (Mike) Gerlach, Jennifer (Danny) Davison; stepdaughter: Lisa (John) Draper; grandchildren: Chris, Cole and Bret Gerlach, Gabe Gembala, Cage and Presley Davison, Sam Hance, Rachael (Eric) Dawson, Kelsy Puckett and Ben Adinolfi; great grandchildren: Zack, Savannah, Serenity, Erica and Mikey; and his coffee drinking buddy, Richard Knuth.

Gary was also preceded in death by his wife Judith Thran; brothers: Elroy and Ron Thran and a sister, Jeannie Oliver.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 11-1 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2020  at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman.
