Detroit Tigers fans can start buying tickets to April games now. About 82-hundred fans will be allowed at the games, but that could increase if the state eases restrictions on stadium crowds. No matter how many attend, Chris Granger, Group President for Sports & Entertainment at Ilitch Holdings, says safety will be a top priority.
“When people come to Comerica Park, they are going to be seated in pods of two, four, or six people,” says Granger. “Those pods will be no less than six feet away from any other pod. This allows us, along with mask wearing, to ensure that everyone has the safest possible experience.”
Opening Day for the Tigers is next Thursday against Cleveland.
