A dedication for the brand new Arthur and Bonna Vanderlyn Community Center and Hartford Public Library will be held this weekend. Supporters will gather on Sunday to celebrate the more than $2 million project’s completion. On hand for the dedication will be state Senator Aric Nesbitt and state Representative Beth Griffin, and the event will include a memorial ceremony for Bonna Vanderlyn, who contributed $1.3 million to the effort. The new library, with state of the art features, replaced a structure that had been in use since 1925.
